Lokhart is an indie dark pop duo created by music producer Jay Battle (Seattle) and musician Yes Alexander (Brooklyn).  They teamed up this past year to create their first self titled EP set to release on 2.6.13.  A perfect match between Battle’s complex and contagious beats and Alexander’s angelic yet strong vocal patterns.  Jay Battle approached Yes Alexander after the 2009 release of Slow Burning Lights in which Yes worked with notorious producers Blue Sky Black Death.  With patience they made Lokhart along with the much anticipated music video brought to you by director Austin Saya (L.A) for the single, ‘Fooled’.
